This page has basic instructions for how to use any database that falls under the Regional Artist Database scope, either as a user or a searcher. If you find the RAD difficult to use or search, you can always let the RAD know by leaving some feedback.

A top tip for users and searchers is that all pages can be found at the bottom of each page on the RAD website.

How to Use (User edition)

Using from the Instagram page:

TLDR: Instagram → RAD Mission Statement → Scroll to bottom of page → Read Terms and Conditions → Scroll to bottom of page → Go to “RAD Form”, fill in details If you clicked the link in the RAD Instagram bio, it will take you to the RAD Mission Statement page. From there, scroll to the bottom of the mission statement page to find links to the other RAD pages including Terms and Conditions, Feedback, Contact, the desired database and Form. All users should read the Terms and Conditions before using the RAD.

To use the RAD, go to the RAD Form page after reading the Terms and Conditions, then scroll to the bottom of the page to find the RAD Form, from there you will be taken to a Google Form. When filling in the form please exercise caution as the nature of the RAD is that it is publicly available so please only use professional contact details and information that you are happy to have publicly available. You can then use the RAD User Survey or our Feedback link to let the RAD know how it could improve or what you enjoyed about it.

If you’d like to view your submission on the RAD you can go to the bottom of any page on the RAD Website and find the Scotland Artists Database link which will take you to the publicly available spreadsheet.
